Soj hunting log - ssf offline

Well it’s finally come down to this: I need an

Annihilus charm to complete my builds, but (and it’s a big but) I’m offline.

So first I got to find an soj, then sell it, then kill

Diablo Clone.

Seems easy enough, I check silospen and if I deck out my sorc with mf gear I get just above 400mf, so nightmare Andy runs have a 1/800(ish) chance to drop... that shouldn’t be too bad right?

Argh... this reminds me of a failed attempt to target farm skullders ire on hell Andy - that was similar odds but after like 1500 runs, my soul crushed, I gave up (got some good other stuff but not a skullders or an soj).

I suppose I could always change it up and do a couple runs on my trav zerker, odds aren’t as good, but maybe I’ll get some hrs there as well.

I’m about 200 runs in and nothing yet.

I have found a few decent small charms and an

Arm of King Leoric, so not totally a wash.

I’ll update every day or so, I can usually get in 100 runs a day, so maybe a week and I should get that soj

Anyone else doing or have done the same?

Is only 1 SoJ enough to spawn DClone?

Offline yes. Online no.

Well I did another 75ish runs this morning and the soj dropped! So my first one took about 275 runs, which thank fully is way better than average.

Wow what a relief, now to gear up my smiter and take out

Diablo Clone - this is the nerve wracking part: selling the soj, I hope it works!

Phew: 15 all attributes, 13 all res (boo), +9 exp

All in all not bad, taking only like 3 days of focused farming to get this was a very enjoyable quest, I really can’t complain.

What a relief when d clone spawned, as

The Stone of Jordan just disappears when sold

I sold it to

Malah and spawned d clone just at the fridge highlands waypoint, he went down slower than expected to my Exile, cta, Grief smiter, but still wasn’t really a challenge.

Probably not for a while, I’ll use this to make torch and rune farming more efficient. I still need a barb, necro and assassin torch, and eventually I want to make an Infinity, so we’ll see if I get bored!
