Trade: PS4/5 players please answer question

Can you sign into a different account on your system and play online with that account or does that account need to have the game purchased as well? Looking at this as a possible multibox solution with my PC.

It uses battle net so ya will be signed off on pc every time if you signed in on pc. If you had two battle.net accounts though ya could do it that way.

Right, that's why I am wondering if game share actually works on the PS4/5. Typically you can share games across accounts on your "primary" PS4/5, wondering if I buy the game and create a new profile if that will be able to log into Battle.net or if that new profile would need the game purchased to go online.

Wouldn't really work a multibox solution because PS4/5 and PC can't join the same games.

Anyway, if you want to play the same account on both PS4/5 and on PC you have to buy the game for both platforms. And even if your primary account was licensed for both PS5 & PC, you could only play 1 character on that account at a time across all platforms it can login to

If you wanted to be able to play on PC and PS4/5 at the same time, it would have to be with two separate accounts. If you wanted to be able to switch between platforms, you'd also have to buy the game again for each platform you want to play on that account. ie if you want two separate b.net accounts that can choose to play on PC or PS5. You'd have to buy 4 copies of the game
