My Cold Sorc is struggeling with cold immunes. Can the -XX% cold resist of Doom break the immunity?

Cold happens to be one of the hardest immunities to break. Specifically, cold immune CANNOT be broken in some cases, as
Conviction
and
Lower Resist
effect immune monsters at 1/5th the numbers shown on the skill.

I realised that and had hoped for an effect that can add to the
Conviction
of my personal paladin body guard.

Yeah,
Lower Resist
is the best for adding to
Conviction
for breaking immunities.

Or re-rolling the immunities, if an option. Like Ancients, for example.
