70 all resistances is not that bad if you find a decent paladin base, this can help you fill the required resistances to survive Uber Tristram as a smiter paladin. On the other hand, a 4 socket shield with perfect diamonds does a similar job - and is much cheaper. Yes, it would lack magic dmg reduce, yes you wont have as much FHR of FBR, but you would have a Mal instead, which is almost an Ist
It's an excelent defense-oriented shield. For other char different than paladins, if you have a moser's, is not necessary to spend a Mal rune to do a Sanctuary. But is excelent in an auric shield with all res mode. In hardcore is rare to use it because many prefers the Stormshield due to the 35% physical damage reduction.
