I can't think of why you would want to allow it so I figure it's a bug. Probably not a huge deal, but could be a way for people to troll, by selling a bunch of items and bumping them all daily

Tried on an older sold item and it gave an error. So I assume it's a time restriction thing, or maybe because I marked the item as sold to myself?
Two separate but undiscovered bugs - added to fix list.
Fixed in v1.0 - see patch notes here.
