Description

Wall of the Eyeless is designed to be a caster shield, but is generally weaker than alternatives such as
Sigon's Guard,
Lidless Wall, Spirit, or Splendor due to a lack of +skills. Granting +5 Mana Per Kill makes it reasonably useful with 20% FCR despite this.

Like
Sigon's Guard, it is hurt by a lack of meaningful resistances.

Before the Lord of Destruction expansion introduced runewords and exceptional/elite unique items,
Wall of the Eyeless and
Sigon's Guard were the best offhand items for casters.
