Hey y’all. I’ve been playing almost since d2r dropped and my ssf holy grail is starting to slow down. I’ve found some of the crazy rarest items while some basic ones still allude me. How about you?
Like I’ve found 2 metalgrids, 2 perfect maras, 3 sojs but haven’t found a single trang Belt or a Wisp Projector yet…

Yo Nate I feel you. My personal Top three are Griffons, DWeb and Windforce. I’ve dropped a 30 CDmg Deaths Fathom, a near perfect Astreons Iron Ward, Stormspire and get this, 2 War Pillars. One of them at Cows p5 with 25 MF. Silospen Calc told me the odds were at about 1 in 15,000,000. RN-motherflipping-G
Same here Nate. I’ve put in so many hours on my offline switch account. I have one of each character and 2 zons all over level 85. I have not found a single soj, bk ring, or oculus. I’ve found dweb, multiple Windforce’s, and a griffons. I’m still waiting on Death’s fathom, astreon’s, and a solid druid pelt to make a Flickering Flame. I’m genuinely shocked that I still haven’t found an oculus. I either have to use a Spirit sword or transfer my hoto from other characters to my sorc.
A +3 Warcries +3 Find Item barb Helm that actually rolls 2 sockets.
Managed to get the best one ever that also rolled with +War Cry and +Taunt but Larzuk only gave it 1 socket. Will prob never find another one, and if I do, I doubt it'll have as good extra skills on it. And if it does, you already know Larzuk's going to screw me over again! To think I really used to like that guy..
Seeing the one socket roll on that was by far my most disappointing moment in D2R yet. May have to work something out with Baal and try to get revenge on Larzuk after that one!!
Saw a 2 socket one listed on Traderie recently, but not as good extra skill rolls (+1 Battle Cry). Offered a couple Bers, but the guy wanted 40 Jah for it. Yea fking right! Will have to make due with mine for now.
I hear ya, another chase barb Helm for me is a +3 Throwing MasteryHelm, ideally with some other skills, can only drop at normal cows or less. I found one once, but didn’t want to use a Larzuk quest… what a mistake, got 2 sockets and now I have a LoreHelm for a low level throwing barb
A pair of 2 rare FCR rings that have better stats than my current ones for my (max block) necro.
As of now with both (ring 1 /ring 2)
20 fcr (10+10)
20 str (20+0)
14 dex (0+14)
64 mana (56+8)
res (10 light + 4 all)
11 magic find (+ + 11)
Others are useless (for my nec) stats like AR, chance to cast...
Anything that has all this BUT improves it overall is a Dream for me, as I have both for several months now
On paper, does not seem impossible, but rolls and all exra money gamble do not follow.
