I am trying to upgrade a 4 socket
Flail
that is grey not White. The recipe doesn't work. Is this because it is not a White and it has sockets? Thanks

Ral + Sol + Perfect Emerald is for upgrading unique weapons.
There is no upgrade recipe for grey/white items.

I don't remember the recipe to upgrade White or grey base.

OP
says
Ral
Sol
Perfect Emerald
I dont know if it has to be a true base item with no sockets or not

Is it superior? Some of the cube recipes don't work on superior items (e.g. you can't socket a superior armor with
Tal
+
Thul
+
Perfect Topaz
).

All prices negotiable. BIN always wins. Americas (Pacific), but int'l trade times can be arranged.

You can only upgrade rare and unique items. Not White, gray, or blue

As of next patch, you can also upgrade set items (with the same recipes as uniques).

But yeah, no such recipe for whites. Sadly. Would certainly make bases a lot more readily available. :)
