Description

Found a 15%ED 15% Max Dura
Boneweave
this morning.
Larzuk
will punch 4 sockets

Is there any reason to use this over a different base for Chains of Honor or Fortitude?

People will focus on this info:
  • Req Strength: 158
  • Weight: Medium
If you don't mind a slower movement speed, or can stack FRW then medium weight doesn't really matter. Strength depends on your other gear I guess!

Another thing to keep in minds it that superior armor with % def have a very high repair cost (my superior
Dusk Shroud
Enigma cost almost 1MM to full repair), so some people don't like to use superior armors on builds that need constant repair (like most melee builds)

I usualy socket my CoH in the first half-decent 4os
Archon Plate
(480+ Def) i could get my hands on after i got the
Ber
. My reason for this is:
  • Except for 15% Ed, the bases Ed doesn't influence the reselling price that much. I still re-sold such plates for
    Ber
. Having it socketed in a non-AP makes reselling more difficult
  • Having some 100 less def is not a big deal, having it socketed in a medium or heavy plate with high Strg req is
  • i want to enjoy the power of CoH ASAP. 15% AP Bases cost at least a
    Ber
by themself and near perfect non-sup bases are expensive, too
I even socket CoH for Merc in such bases instead of
Eth
ones. Socketing Fortitude is, of course, another thing. In this case, i go for any 800+ def
Eth
base.
