Why is it in any of the acts there are no small sorceress wands sold by the vendors? they are not easy to find and are not usually what i need even though i am willing to pay a high Gold amount for them.

Just how thye coded the vendor stock I guess. Much like how there's no way to buy pally shields but you can still buy the Scepter, or necro heads. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume when they made Diablo they assumed staffs would be the main use for a sorc. That or their idea behind vendors was meant to be a short term solution to a long term problem. I wish I could shop Greater Claws/talons with skills that were White bases so I can easily make Plague or Mosaic.
It's like with anything GG the only GG vendor item I can think about farming is Claws from Anya, but someone did a sim years ago and it's not really realistic to spend you time trying to farm one.
