I'm wearing Nature's Peace on my Sorc and killing Nihlathak's minions with Blizzard and Fire Ball, no mercenary, and I hear SMRIP proc like all the time, but Nihlathak is still able to Revive them and cast CE, although maybe less often than before I used that ring.
Any thoughts ?

Nihlathak uses the following Skills: Summon Minion, Minion Frenzy, Corpse Explosion, Arctic Blast, Teleport.
Minion Frenzy is a bonus used by Overseers. When used on a minion, the minion's hide swells up and it becomes a Suicide Minion. Nihlathak uses this ability along with Summon Minion.

So he's not reviving minions but summoning them. There definitely are some self exploding minions, but I'm positive that Nihly is casting CE too. AFAIK Frenzy minions don't damage other monsters. I'll do some more runs soon and check again.

Nihlathak can use CE on those self exploding minions' bodies.
Oh lol I didn't even think about that possibility! This explains it.
