Query on yellow and blue rings/amu

Hello, just curious if there is any tip, outside of the crafting recipes from the cube, to get good yellow rings ? (With rez, strength, MF…)

And another question, do you bother picking up blue rings and amulets? If yes, what s the purpose or expectation ?

yellow means rare rings right? crafted one I would call them orange, haha.

to your question, I gamble rings a lot, not so much for the amulets though.

I don't think there's anything you can do about rare jewelry beyond increasing your MF. As for picking up blues, I do it but I think the only useful ones are MF gear.

Also some +3/FCR necks, FCR/res rings, some +3 heads/shrunks, pre-buff orbs and all that niche goodness.


That said, the only time I pick up anything blue is if I end up running a new build that still needs one of the above. Soon as that's covered (typically by just buying it instead cuz..way easier), I don't bother anymore. Yellows..only when I'm really, really bored. :p

So, you mean most of them you get from trading ?
I don t see too many yellows dropping, increasing mf should increase the percent of yellow dropping compared to White or blue right?

I was picking them (blues) up before but then realised its kinda waste of time as gambling for rings gives much better time to amount ratio.

Amulets sadly aren't very useful except niche scenarios. 99% of time I would use Mara/

Caster Amulet anyway.

That said I look at this mostly from POV of PvM Sorc/Paladin so I might not know everything (I probably don't ;D)

Yellow I still pick up. I'm always curious.

EDIT: Ok, I admit I use +3 skill vs Cows. And that's about it.
