My online barb is all axes I have griefs, Beast botd Death, everything you could want.
My offline with phase blades is faster just because you dont have to repair every 3 minutes lol. Its rough.
Botd and Death in Berserker Axe is really nice, just not as fast as double Grief

That's where the dmg spikes come from.
If you overcap to make up for those then yeah, the damage spikes kinda disappear on pretty much any build.
