Are there many false reports? Started using this site a month or so ago and
it seemed to be somewhat reliable! However, lately it has been off! Just wondering
if anyone else has noticed the inaccuracy on some of the latest reports!

Are you talking about DC tracker on EU progress?
If so, EU server is wield, one seeing 1/6, other seeing 2/6, you get the picture.

Yeah it's often one of several bugs in the game client tbh and not the reporter's fault. That said, if you see someone making incorrect reports, lmk and I can send them a message to find out what the issue is.

Ya - just looked at a breakdown on this and could just be that
specific server. That being said - with so many servers it is still
a cluster ____ to nail it down! Thanks for the info.

The trackers are nearly useless now and it really isn’t the fault of the trackers. Most walks are happening as a result of streamers so they don’t progress “naturally”. Streamers will organize a walk and then sell the SoJs all at once at a predetermined time so all the stages happen within a couple of minutes (at most). By the time the trackers are updated the walk is probably over.

Both runewizard and here have APIs available for use, and there are a bunch of notifier/discord/telegram bots etc. that rely on the inputs from the tracker APIs to broadcast an alert for planned and unplanned walks. So they still have some use as a public broadcast, and the (very rare now) natural progress walks.

Well - 2 hours past original post and have had 2 spawns on the same server since!
So the info on the streamers organizing walks seems right on! Appreciate the help!

The info provided in this forum is usually accurate to the minute, occasionally a streamer will go a couple minutes early or late, but seems like they’re working on their timing to get it within seconds of a new hour.

Really wouldn't go that far.

Plenty of the streamer hosts still start selling minutes, sometimes half an hour or more beforehand. That's plenty of time for a tracker alert to notify you if you didn't read along for the prior announcements.

Though yeah, as Teeb already said, using the API to get that alert is a lot more reliable/useful than randomly refreshing the tracker page throughout the day.
