I've definitely seen some interest in going with Enigma as the armor and making up the difference with opals at the ring slots. If you have the 2/20 at the amulet, you can add in Enigma for the skills, strength, and most importantly magic find. Further increases in magic find can be gotten with magic find rings instead of opals. So for example Sling ring can be an attractive combo of magic find and FCR with some energy.

An interesting thought but no FCR on the armor forces you into using subpar options on your other gear slots. The only thing that Trangs or Magefist give you is FCR.

If you’re really going for a 0% fcr body armor, then Skullder’s is also worth considering.

It is worth noting that if you feel you must get 15 fcr (Fortitude ES/ Nova) or 20 fcr on your amulet, a 2/20 amulet isn’t strictly necessary. Those things are so expensive that they’re basically unaffordable/unattainable in a ladder season for the majority of players. However, the skills are less important than the FCR, so a 1/20 or even a 0/20 work nicely.

Thanks. That is very surprising because I was under the impression that there were zero changes in ALL the seasons between the season after Mosaic and RotW. That they fixed this bug in the middle of that dead time should have been a tip off to the community that actual work was still ongoing behind the scenes. I think season 9 was one of the seasons I skipped.
