my paladin is only 1k hp and likely can hold 5x more..

It's really easy to record on Nintendo switch. In fact its nearly the same as taking a screenshot. The controller has a screenshot button, pushing it takes a screenshot, holding down on it for 5 seconds will record a video of the past 30 seconds of gameplay. (For D2R, it works differently in certain other games like Super Smash Bros Ultimate where you can save entire matches).

Holy Bolt is indeed powerful against bosses when maxed out to 20 hard points and fully synergized with 20 hard points into Fist of Heavens, although at P5 settings and higher it becomes less effective. However, this

Unfortunately, against

Uber Baal's chilling armour, it also adds alot of DPS returned to the attacker. Kinda reminds me when Oblivion Knights used to have the

Iron Maiden curse.

I was using a Last Wish

Phase Blade. With max 6FPS

Smite it usually procs

Life Tap near right away. I'm using Spirit

Vortex Shield with +40 all res automod and Trangouls

Claws because it helps me hit 75 FCR breakpoint (this is a FoH smiter hybrid). No

Life Tap

Wand on swap because I use CTA.

Other gear im using is FCR+all res rings & amulet,

String of Ears,

Gore Rider,

Andariel's Visage (near perfect with +29STR and 10 LL) w/

Cham rune, and Principle

Archon Plate (the latter is what killed me vs

Uber Baal specifically because of it's 100% CTC

This was 3rd time I had done Ubers with this character and honestly what should have clued me in was the fact that I shredded Uber Meph and Diablo all 3x, but the first 2x i nearly died vs

Uber Baal. Went through like 6-8 purple pots vs

Uber Baal alone each of the first two times which should have been pretty much a giveaway but now it's plainly evident what happened.

An often overlooked consequence of the 2.4 patch is that

Uber Baal was buffed (and

Über Izual as well). Patch 2.4 buffed

Chilling Armor - it does roughly 3x more damage per retaliatory

Ice Bolt than it did in D2/LoD or in D2R pre-ladder (the defense bonus was buffed roughly 1.3x too). The intention was to buff the Sorceress skill, but as both

Uber Baal and

Über Izual use

Chilling Armor, they also got a (probably unintended) buff.

I'm glad you ran this. I was theory-crafting a FOH/Smiter hybrid with Principle wondering how it would do on Ladder before I could get Enigma. I just haven't had a

Gul drop and it seemed expensive to trade for as a stop-gap.

Other than

Uber Baal, how did the Principle setup do?
