Description

So am I missing something, or is there not a way to view comment history? This site is amazing so far, but one thing that seems to be missing is a way to quickly find trades I've posted comments on.

Once you close the page, unless you bookmark it or remember the exact search you did to find it, it's hard to find again. I did see the "watch" option, but do you have to check that for every trade you comment on to track them? What if I don't want to watch a specific item, but just be able to easily go back to it to check the comments otherwise?

If you do have to watch every item, then maybe have items be added to your watch list automatically when you comment on them, then when they sell they get removed?

Edit: I also noticed the "watch trade" option is hidden behind an "options" button at the only current option. I feel like having the "watch" button should be directly visible so you can click it without having to go into an options menu of any kind. Just so it's harder to miss and quicker to use otherwise.

No, if you comment on a trade, you automatically begin watching it.

Yeah fair enough on this one, something that bothered me too tbh :) Will add to the list.

PS if you look at your own profile, it has, for the moment, the last 5 posts you made. This is being extended later to cover your entire post history. Stay tuned!

Great! Though I did notice when I went back to a trade I commented on, I still had to manually add it to my watch list because it wasn't marked. Maybe that is a bug?

Also, I know it's not on the same subject exactly, but would it be possible to add a sound to the website for new notifications? A simple chime or selectable sound for whenever a new notification is loaded would be helpful to track when people are playing D2 with the page open on another monitor to monitor trades easier.

Yeah maybe, will investigate that.

Potentially yeah, that could be a nice idea. Sound in tabbed navigation doesn't work so well though, like, the page would have to be open in the browser, not in a tab, for sounds to play.

However Path of Diablo's trade site does it is what I am referencing. All I know in that regard is that I was able to open the page, leave it open in the background and would occasionally hear a chime whenever someone would message me on there. It let me know to look over and respond whenever I was MFing or doing something else as long as the page was open in the background. Usually I would have the trade site, twitch or youtube, and twitter open in various tabs. Just having the sound helped a lot. Something else would be nice if it showed your number of notifications on the title bar on the browser/tab. So it would show like "(3) Page title" on the tab if you had 3 new notifications or something.

Honestly this website is amazingly done, there is so much going on here it's still taking me a while to dig through everything, but if this kicks off when the game launches, you've got a winner here.

It does already :)

Noted on that feedback. I'll see what I can do.
