Description

River of Flame is the penultimate level of Act 4 and leads to the Chaos Sanctuary.

Here you will find Hephasto the Armorer - after killing him you may use the Hellforge Hammer to destroy Mephisto's Soulstone at his forge.
(this is all part of The Hellforge)

Upon destroying the soulstone, several gems will drop or varying quality.

Number of elite pack spawns:
Normal: 0 - 1
Nightmare: 4 - 5
Hell: 6 - 7

 Guest
  • Go towards top right of the screen here. No real tells before the waypoint. In the "bridge" to Chaos Sanctuary you want to look at "H" shaped lava.
    Full H shaped lava means you go to the right side, else you go to the left side.
  • The heads on the statues in the River of Flame leading towards the Chaos Sanctuary will turn to follow you as you walk by. This is just after the waypoint.
