Edit: To expand on it, its an exceptional base. Its not elite, which is what people would want to put expensive runes into, and its not a low requirement base which people use for things like Spirit or Treachery. Its not a bad item, would be great for a mid level barbarian and just shoved full of junk gems for example, but for trade value its just not appealing.

Agreed. To notice, for uniques and bases, you can just search them in search bar then click on price history to get appraisals.
