Past weeks I saw people paying multiple HRs like Sur+ Lo+ Vex+Ists for a Jah. Do people really destroy like 2 Ber to get a Jah? Do they know the amount of time to farm one of those and that the chances are pratical the same ? (like close to zero, never)
Or is it cause ROTW gave us stacking runes which made upgrading affortable, i mean with chest-space?

I don't think people combine high runes.
the market just has so many to offer from the years of farming everyone has done.

I think the only upgrading that made sense historically was 2 Gul to a Vex, and 2 Cham to a Zod. Maybe 2 Sur to a Ber as well. Gul, Cham, and Sur had few timeworn uses. Cham in particular was only really needed for CBF.
Now though, I think these upgrades have been thrown off because a bunch of people want the Sur and Cham runes to complete their chronicles. At least that’s my take, as I can’t figure out what people are demanding Sur runes for.

It is Last Wish. People need it to has 70 CB. ED is not important. People need to repeat Hel it. CB really has difference but ED is not.
Pride also has a huge of demand. But it will equal Consume Cham, Lo. But when you look at Cham Lo, they are cheaper.
In Rotw, people does not need that good Grief.
Even if smiter paladin, Grief , average, a little bit good , good and super-good usually equal performance, unless you have strange build need that bit speed.
I run calculator, me and target before I build a stronger roll things. So some of my rune word still soso or bad.
Some Trade is available for both rotw and LoD, Most rune , Perfect Gems is only in LoD side.
