I've been playing for a long, LONG time, but I'm still struggling to figure out the process for getting to where I am now.
Like, Light Sorcs are junk until they get Crescent Moon Runeword and Griffon's Eye, but that's what I like playing.
Do I level as Fire, swap to Cold for MF purposes, and then finally into Lightning once I have some stuff?

I am traveling that weekend and I am more motivated to finish off the offline HC grail at this point given zero adjustments...
What a shame, not starting a new ladder char and will carry on with my usual characters. Was anticipating some new runewords so I could make my own non-ladder Mosaic, but I guess will just trade some at this point.
Even just some bug fixes would be nice
Lightning sorc needs Infinity also to break immunes, The reduction of enemy resistance due to equipment doesn't work on immunes, only after the immunity is broken. Without Infinity light sorc is the worst, but with Infinity becomes the best sorc. Also, Crack of the Heavens is much cheaper than Infinity.
I came with zero expectation and still left disappointed.

These people think european players are playing at 2 am. Always hated Blizzards way of resetting seasons in their games.

D2R (fortunately!) has one common server - divided into 3 regional realms and also separate consoles, but they are still interconnected - so, effectively, unlike in LoD, it's a global server. You cannot schedule a global release in a way that pleases everyone. By the very nature of time zones someone is going to get screwed.
The only "fair(ish)" option would be to rotate reset times each season so for each region the reset happens at the prime time every n seasons.
Indeed. Like Trang Oul says, if they set it at the evening for Europeans then the reset would be in the middle of the night in Asia (the biggest market, probably) instead. Or if it was in the European morning, it would be in the middle of the night for Americas. There’s no use complaining, with a shared world state, some region is always going to get the short end of the stick.
For the record, not all Americans are pleased with the evening resets anyway, since they only get a couple of hours before bedtime (reset is at 20.00 for US east coast), unless one pulls an all-nighter. At least, Europeans can wake up early Saturday morning and play throughout the entire day if they so choose without losing a whole night’s sleep, just a few hours from getting up earlier than usual. It’s not perfect for anyone. Well, maybe it is for Korea (9 or 10 o’clock morning start depending on season). Point is, it is what it is. If they completely separated the realms like in LoD, then they could stagger the reset time per region, but I don’t think separating the realms is better than what we have now.
