Food for thought, when you step through Pindle's portal to Nihlathak's Temple, you can use Raise Skeleton on a bunch of the undead there before they wake up. I can usually get 12-15 skellies out of that before having to fight anything. And then you can immediately kill Pindle, which is always a good use of time.
Those undead do have good drop tables, but if it saves a good golem, that may be a good trade.

Update: Horizon's Tornado, Heavenly Garb, and one other I can't recall all fell to dclone. Finished him off with Fire Golem.

He does that thing where he becomes marked as an enemy mob?
Its become a headache as im a poisonmancer that depends on Insight somewhere and ive just made my new shiny Eth Superior Giant Thresher into an Obedience .. but when IG poofs im OOM in no time.

You'll probably get a Golemlord's of Teleport Amulet first, or maybe I've been really lucky. You can reroll it at ilvl 60, IIRC. I've been losing golems mainly because having to recharge it means I don't use it as much as I should sometimes. Though I didn't have the problem all that often before I started keeping track of my golems. It's weird.

All the stats you need, something like 21-22k life, probably around 10k ar...add a Pride might merc for the full tri-aura goodness and you should be able to knock at close to 10k max damage for him as well.
Obvious problem being that the bloody AI delay will forever stop him from actually having decent DPS even with that..but hey, should still be interesting to at least see him 1-shot cows with your amp behind him.

You know, there's something very pleasing about the mental picture of a necromancer making an Iron Golem out of a weapon called Bonesnap with a Skull at the top. It's like, he can't figure out how NOT to make a Skeleton. I imagine him Carbot style sitting in town with a "How to Make Metal Things" instruction book scratching his head, then just pulling out Bonesnap.
