Found 3 Jah's this week doing solo Baal runs!!!

When I'm not slaying demons, I'm usually out hiking mountains.

I have a feeling I might have missed something. My math goes like this:

I've checked the GGmaxroll chance to drop the runes above for a real high Council Member (like Ismail), then I multiplied that chance by 4, since there are 4 real high council members. I then added the whole column from Pul to Zod up and got a one in 710 chance to drop a Pul or higher. I then added the whole column up, excluding Pul, and got a one in 892 chance to drop an Um or higher. Then I went all the way up to Zod and there we go.

What annoys me about this calculation is that I read a post by some guy who found a high rune every 400-500 runs. He had done thousands of runs so I kinda feel like his math is repeatable.

Obviously, cow runs are better per run, but you can do trav runs much faster, and with a larger variety of characters.
Miroslav, my post was similar to what you were referencing to.

I'm up to about 3200 trav runs now and have had 11 HRs drop. pretty consistent luck on may part. Either 3200 runs is not a big enough sample size, or there's a missing component of the equation, but I'm too lazy to check.

Maybe this is the case... On Silospen, the 4 council members that roll with the SuperUnique council members are classified as minions, and have the same HR drop rate as the SuperUniques. So that would be multiplying the drop chances by 8, not 4, effectively doubling the drop chances that you have calculated.

Available for trade after 6pm EST - US

I've found everything in the game but Sur and Zod, and with the exception of Jah, Ohm, and Cham, I've found more than one of the rest (2 X Ber), and more Gul and Ist than I can remember.

I think doing a full run of all the places in the game with my 84 frenz barb will yield a high rune.

Did anyone tried doing a whole full run again?

goodluck, and may the RNG god be with you.

Make that 4!!!!!

I've found 3 Gul, 4 Vex, 1 Ohm, and 1 Lo.
7
Without trading, I have found

1 Zod, 6 Cham, 4 Jah, 2 Ber, 7 Sur, 1 Lo, 2 Ohm and many Vex, Gul, Ist which I can not remember.

IIRC 1 Cham, 1 Jah and 1 Ber dropped from cows, 1 Sur dropped from the super chest after meph, 1 Sur dropped from nihl, all rest are from Chaos.

Chaos is definitely the best place to farm.

found Cham in Trav, and Vex in CS this weekend.
So far, 12 HRs in 3,357 Trav runs, 1 HR every 280 runs.

I've found high runes on both solo and in public games and with just 1 other friend.

Ist, Gul, Vex, Ohm, Sur, Cham found solo.

Ist, Gul, Vex, Ohm, Sur found with my and my buddy.

Ist, Gul, Vex, Ohm, Lo, Sur, Cham found in public games.

In my years on classic and since D2r came out, I've never seen a Ber, Jah, or Zod drop.

Active on D2R most evenings Pacific Standard Time

I have found Zod, Jah, Sur, Ohm and 2 Vex in solo games which i consider extremly lucky.

In groups i only found HR's while farming LK, but i found 2 Ber, another Ohm and at least one other Vex.

I accept offers in Runes, Pgems or Keys. Online mostly later evening CET.

The high runes I've found so far are Vex, Vex, Vex and Vex... that is until just 5 minutes ago when a common cow dropped Jah and nearly gave me a heart attack.

Inspired by this thread, I did a bunch of trav runs without counting, maybe 200 runs maximum, and I found a Vex Rune. This is the second highest rune I have ever found since the release of LoD so I was quite intrigued. I then got covid and while the family was sleeping or watching TV I killed Trav over and over with my Zealadin. He's my only viable character atm since I play hardcore and the others are dead.

Anyway, on run 294 I found a Ber rune. I feel like I've beat the game. Don't really know what to do with it, but I'm not quitting Travincal.

The only thing I'd say against Travincal, compared to Countessrunning, is that 300 countessruns on average gives you 2 Ist (including cubing or trading some of the lower runes) and a whopping 21 keys of Terror. When I was doing countessruns, 3 keys of Terror sold for a Mal. That means 300 runs averages a value of 2 Ist + 7 Mal. Basically somewhere between 2 and 3 Gul, on average. That's really quite comparable to running Travincal, and it's very practical to get your runes broken down into decent mid runes like Um and Mal.

1 Jah - Trav (within 15-20 runs for the day) Yesterday actually :)
1 Sur - Cows
1 Lo - Trav
4 Ohm - Diablo, LK, Tals Tomb, cows
1 Vex - LK
5-6 Gul
2 Ist - LK, WSK
I maybe average 45 mins - 1 hour a day playing solo online.

I'm on the fence with Countessrunning for HR unless you need keys too. In my experience a run takes at least double the time of a Trav run especially on battle.net, and Teleport is an absolute must. With Countess, anything dropping above Gul is relatively terrible odds and she can't drop above Lo. In other words the potential value floor for countess is possibly equal to Trav, but Trav ceiling is much higher. Stacking Ist and Mal is great but cubing Ist to Gul kills some value. I'm curious, how many Countess runs have you done?

online solo, averagely an hour or two a day, my rune luck isn't great, during the 3 months of playing, the highest I've found is a Sur, so no HR above Sur (in Durance), never found a Lo either, but I still manage to get hold of Enigma through other finds and trades, the takeaway is you don't have to find HR for godly gear, in my case, some skillers I found contributed a great deal to my first Enigma.

I found Ber on the first Chaos /trav run. And I’m 28 Chaos and 54 trav’s later and the only mention is a pair of tgods

Not sure. 500-2000 runs maybe. I don't even count the possibility of a high rune as part of the profit. I play hardcore and my playstyle originally was meant to be very low effort. Dual Spirit and a Lore Helm is basically enough gear for countess running. I added Andy to the mix and found it quite worthwhile.

I still don't do Nihlatak runs at all, so countess running is my way to get keys. I just don't like running The Summoner.

Just saw my first Sur yesterday farming keys.

I've got fairly good runes from killing the mobs to summoner. Vex- Pul. Same with Halls of Pain + Vaught. I missed a champion last night and my buddy right behind me got him and it dropped a Cham.

Xbox GT: Cinomed541 add me if you need someone to play with.
