Description

Coldsteel Eye has low damage but a fast attack speed. Although the "cold" part of its name isn't shown in its mods, Hit Blinds Target seems to reference the "eye". It's 50% Chance of Deadly Strike greatly improves its damage. Although it isn't necessarily the best option for 1h weapons, it will get a character through Nightmare.

Coldsteel Eye found it's use for the
Frenzy Act V barbarian mercenary due to the insane amount of 30% slow target. Along with
Blackhorn's Face that adds another 20% slow target, a Lawbringer and Treachery, this is the best mercenary for a Uber cold sorceress.
