I have steam controller connected, but it's not responding to movement. I can open menu and map etc with the controller.

hmm maybe try unplugging it and plugging it back in? I dont have a HC character to help you. But I have had that amazon bug a few times and using the controller joystick to move fixed it. The controller I used is an xbox controller.

I will try another controller, should have a Logitech as well somewhere, thanks for the replies.

HAH! It worked! This time, the UI changed too, and I was able to move/unstuck, then revert back to keyboard and mouse as you said.
And after looking at the damn thing for an hour and a half I was able to pickup my first D2R Reaper's Toll!
