Description

Hi :)

Made a second sword with the runeword Spirit since the first one failed, but the second one failed also.
both were also in correct order so:
Tal
Thul
Ort
Amn
and i crafted both with my ladder char.

Is this a known bug?

edit/ps:
i tried to remove the runes from my first attempt so i googled and found out that i had to place a
Hel
and a town ortal scroll with the sword into the cube,so i did that and the runes were gone (!) but the sword was also a grey one and the runes in correct order.

THANKS :)

Thanks for the answers and clarifications, i were able to successfully craft two other swords now with my two other empty four socket sword bases!

Got a screenshot?

Off the top of my head:
- Were they 4-socket swords and not just 4 runes in 5 sockets?
- Were they gray socketed bases, not magic stuff with 4 sockets?
- Are you sure it was a sword type weapon?

Are you sure you use a "grey" 4 open sockets sword base ? Not an
Axe
, not any other weapon, and not magical (blue) ?

This should not happen (in D2R at least, old d2 is different).

(Well done, Schnorki, you were quicker ^^)

First: that the correct order.
Second: [Only on D2R] you can craft it on non-ladder too.
And last: there is no known bug about it.

You need to post a screenshot of those failed runewords for us to tell what went wrong...

Second one is easy to analyse : you must have the EXACT number of sockets to make a runeword. Using a 6 sockets sword for a sprit does not work.

First one, we'll need a screenshot. If you used the same base, that's normal you fail.
