Uber Smiter advice

Heya,

So built ap pretty budget Uber smiter and have killed the ubers about 15 or so times now.

Going pretty well- Tristram is a breeze. Never any struggle there at all but struggle a bit with matrons den & izzy's home either just getting to ubers or when they spawn surrounded by tough e.g. champion minions.

Was considering a hybrid build to try speed things up/ die less. Was interested in the avenger mainly to max out Conviction so I dont have to worry about pre-buffing with Treachery any more (only do now for Mephisto) have 90%+ resists otherwise. Additional points in resists for veangance whould push to 95% resist all (with an Antidote Potion).

I Would swap "Black" Flail for heavens light with 2 shaels and already have 15ias in guillams with cats eye amulet to get to 6fps Smite with level 4 Fanaticism or 7fps with Conviction on.

Would still have 83% crushing blow in total.

Also using: " Um'd" Guardian Angel, 4 PDaimond Sacred Targe, Raven Frost, t gods, Dwarf Star, gore striders and drac's. Though would possibly swap Dwarf Star for Manald Heal for mana leach when using veangance. And maybe String of Ears instead of tgods if i have passive lightning resist? I also have a Teleport amulet to try get to izzy/ lillith but find it a bit clunky with no fcr and also slower attacks due to no cats eye.

So questions are:
Would I be able to clear small areas around mini ubers using veangance with this build to keep me alive?

Could I still kill ubers pretty quickly presumably by smiting for easy crushing blow until their life is pretty low / I get Life Tap then switching to vengance to finish them off?

With this build I'll lose a fair bit of defense due to low points in Holy Shield and almost no points in Defiance. (Currently walk around with 10k defense which is pretty nice). Will losing this affect me alot?

Have 2 respecs left so if it doesnt work and I have to change back that'll be it for me.

This doesn't work in case anyone was wondering... Doesn't really affect Smite to badly so can still kill ubers quickly. But can't hit anything with Vengeance so pretty useless all in all. Might try just a little zealing or something...

Vengeance is a terrible skill and best avoided. If you need to kill PIs then some type of amp/ decrep curse is your best bet. Or just Zeal them down with an elemental weapon.
