Also, Charsi has a higher than average chance of giving larger +X to a skill mods.
OK, so, Charsi gives an ilvl of charlvl+4 - if you imbue it now it will be ilvl 95.
With a qlvl of 67, this gives an affixlvl of 91.
@ character lvl 92 the affixlvl will be 93,
@ char lvl 93 -> 95
@ char lvl 94 -> 97
@ char lvl 95 -> 99
Next you'll want to determine which affixes and suffixs you desire, and at which affixlvl they become available at.
I know nothing of grimoires or RotW, and based entirely on LoD I would guess that affix lvl 91 is sufficient for it to roll any prefix and suffix (it isn't a charm).
With a qlvl of 67, this gives an affixlvl of 91.

no just the the "best", but all affixes, and independently of the Character level (because of its quality level + magic level, that is higher then 99)
Yes it does. Don't ever imbue anything other than a Diadem would be my advice.

But there are other items worth the imbue, like Eth javelins, Eth Claws, Eth dimensional blades, etc.
I actually like imbuing character specific items since you can gamble rare diadems but you can't gamble class specific rares. But if you do, don't expect anything useful. You will most likely get crap (same as with Anya quest).

Javelins yeah idk. I tried that and she rerolled a +3 Javelin& Spear skills to a +1 instead, so I won't be doing that again lol. But I like to use imbue for things that can't be simply replaced by a stash of Gold. How long does it take to farm Gold until you can shop a rare Diadem? Compare this to: How long does it take to find a rare Eth Javelin or a rare Eth Dimensional Blade?
I've seen enough of this but not once that. So that's part of my motivation.
It's definitely the bigger gamble and you'd need thousands of imbues to get anything useful. But you can get crazy valuable stuff.

You mentioned javelin skills, so I assume you wanted to roll one for a javazon. What properies should a perfect rare javelin have? There is legendary, nigh-unobtainable 6/40 (+6 java, +40 IAS) magic javelin, but I haven't heard of a rare javelin being used by javazons (as opposed to throw barbs), as it'd need to outperform both Titan's Revenge and Thunderstroke.BigD wrote: 2 days agoJavelins yeah idk. This was awhile back, probably near last year before I learned that plain White or Eth Javelin with +3 automod gets rerolled when imbued. Knowing this now, there's no chance i would use an imbue quest for that again - you have better odds dropping one that's any good. Rare Eth Dimensional Blade upgraded to Phase Blade is almost for sure outclassed by Grief which is why PvP use case scenarios comes to mind.

Not sure if things have changed but there was a time when a rare 4skills/450ed/40ias/ Eth/rep mat Javelin would be the best PvP weapon. In PvP the physical damage is quite important.
