Hi, my question as in the subject: How can I disable the snow effect? The animation really distracts and overstimulates me.
I tried filtering the particles using a custom UBlock filter but for some reason they're not clickable in there. Sadly my web skillz end here ;_;
pls halp

@r9i @bigbikefan I have added a toggle on/off setting at the bottom of the global preferences page: ucp.php?i=197
Just click 'off' and then reload the page - the snow will be gone on this browser, and will persist until you turn the setting back 'on' again.
If you clear your localstorage on this browser for whatever reason, then the setting will have to be re-applied btw.

I love the snow storm.
But if you want to disable it, you can open your browser console (F12) and type:
snowStorm.stop()
P.S. You may need to run that every time the page loads. So, you might want a browser extension that runs a piece of JS code after every page load event. I believe there are several options for different types of browsers.

Sorry, I don't share your Passion for snow storms. Is there a way to submit such a request to the heaven's office for my area?ChristianKiss wrote: 2 months agoI love the snow storm.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly fine with the site holiday decorations, but grabbing a shovel for snow removal is a completely different storyTeebling wrote: 2 months ago@r9i @bigbikefan I have added a toggle on/off setting at the bottom of the global preferences page: ucp.php?i=197
