That question is nearly impossible to answer without knowing your build and gear. But It's probably skill point allocation and gear choices that have you struggling.itswhatevan wrote: 1 day agoWhy do I go from clowning on mobs in Nightmare to barely being able to kill a Fallen in hell as a Physical damage barb?

Can be used to make Runewords:
I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.
I witnessed 4 walks in HCL last friday. it was mayhem. it was completely unnanounced and the counter just went from phase 1 to phase 6 in 1-2 minutes. I could get 2 annies myself (i was playing pub games, so someone stole the other 2). Sadly on the next day i decided to tank 20 projectiles from a might aura siren and my hero wearing a good anni died.ShadowHeart wrote: 1 day agoWedgeAntilles wrote: 1 day agoThe Diablo Clone spawns, when a certain amount of SoJs are sold, correct? It's 75-125 total for a walk.sTonedmason wrote: 1 day agoIt is much more than 6 to complete a cycle online. From all the hosted walks I've seen on streams I would assume about 80-100.
The number required per stage has no upper/lower bound though, it seems completely randomized (meaning a single stage could sometimes take just a few SoJs and sometimes 50+ SoJs).
The game is infested with bots. A lot of the items you see on trading sites have been originally acquired by bots (and possibly/probably changed hands multiple times before it reaches you). There's literally thousands of bots, maybe tens of thousands, nobody really knows the true number.WedgeAntilles wrote: 1 day agoWho sells an SoJ to a vendor? And how do you find this many SoJs?
Bots?
The selling is done both by bots and by people deliberately trying to spawn dclone (such as streamers or communities doing it publicly). The slow trickling progress you see that can take hours, days, even weeks (on NL anyway) between stages is most definitely bots, nobody sells SoJs to vendors by mistake. I mean, I'm sure it has happened, but not that many. Whenever it walks by progressing really fast through the stages, it's because someone is deliberately selling in order to spawn dclone. I.e., a planned event.
In order of rarity (most common first):
- On softcore ladder these walk events are usually hosted by streamers, sometimes by random D2R community members.
- On softcore non-ladder these kinds of walks are rare, the only public/planned ones are the weekly ones on Americas by TLD (The Last Dynasty), a D2R community Discord server.
- On hardcore ladder these are usually done by private groups (the "anni mafia") who wants to control the anni supply, with a few public walks throughout each season by streamers. SoJs are prohibitively expensive to acquire on HCL in the numbers required for a walk, and streamers interested in doing it are few, so public walks are rare.
- On hardcore non-ladder... well there are none, simple as that. Well, except Xanhast's annual holiday walk event (he's a member here on diablo2.io, he has hosted a few HCNL walks in December the last couple of years as a holiday event).
Over at the D2R Clone Hunters Discord server we aim to announce every planned walk ahead of time (and assist with killing them as needed). We don't catch them all, but that's impossible (since some groups are quite deliberately not wanting anyone except their own group to know about it ahead of time).
Hi all, like we said no stupide question, only stupid People. ^^
More seriously what runeword I can craft in offline mode ? Any item restriction ? Like in Lod ?

In offline mode on D2R you can make any runeword, even ones that are ladder-only (for online players).Cleo wrote: 1 day agoMore seriously what runeword I can craft in offline mode ? Any item restriction ? Like in Lod ?

(Not sure what you mean about item restriction specifically. You do still need the correct type of base with the correct number of sockets.)
My grail tracker is for offline SC. I also play offline HC and recently some occasional online SC NL.

Yes, thanks, that's what I suspected when I wrote my first paragraph. But I haven't played old versions of D2, so I wanted at least mention that I wasn't quite sure what was meant (in case there was some other restriction I don't know about, or if I was just confused).mhlg wrote: 1 day agoHe might be referring to ladder only runewords?gensymmed wrote: 1 day agoIn offline mode on D2R you can make any runeword, even ones that are ladder-only (for online players).Cleo wrote: 1 day agoMore seriously what runeword I can craft in offline mode ? Partly because it's a big jump from NM to Hell, much more so than from Normal to NM. I've had lots of builds myself that shredded NM and then going into Hell it was like they hit a brick wall.itswhatevan wrote: 1 day agoWhy do I go from clowning on mobs in Nightmare to barely being able to kill a Fallen in hell as a Physical damage barb?
And like buddy said, impossible to answer that question in any meaningful way without knowing your gear, build, etc. What are you currently working with?

Nearly every monster in Hell difficulty is immune to something, hell lvl monsters have substantially more hit points, have higher defense rating, and uniques gain 2 extra modifies such as Extra Fast, and Stone Skin. Also when you enter Hell lvl your resistances are dropped and life and mana Leech effects are reduced by 2/3rds. As others have stated it would be helpful if we knew more about your gearing and build.itswhatevan wrote: 1 day agoWhy do I go from clowning on mobs in Nightmare to barely being able to kill a Fallen in hell as a Physical damage barb?
How do I get my trades to show up in different tabs on my profile. I tried to do WTS, WTB, and one list just for Anni's, but they always end up back on the first tab.

In the Create new trade menu, click on misc button. You should see all your tabs on the right side and can select the one you want to use. First tab is the default selection.RackAnewShoe wrote: 11 hours agoHow do I get my trades to show up in different tabs on my profile. - If a weapon adds a chance for something to happen, then it only applies to attacks/strikes with that weapon.
This includes “chance to cast on attack/striking, deadly strike, crushing blow.
- Any mod that directly affects damage, chance to hit, or that only take effect when successfully striking the target only apply when the weapon it’s on is being swung. This includes life/mana stolen per hit, +attack rating, +damage or enhanced damage in any form (whether with %, min, max or whatever), hit blinds target, flee, PMH, open wounds, -def (including ITD), slow %, reanimate chance, SMRIP, IAS, Pierce %, -res %, knockback, freeze target.
- Passive bonuses that don’t seem to logically apply to a specific weapon, well, don’t. This includes +attributes, +life, +mana, +skills, +res.

Example 1: All enemies will have the
-X% enemy cold resist applied at all times whenever said weapon is equipped, regardless of what weapon slot it is in, main or off-hand. However, this only applies to the attacks from the wearer.
For example, if you are a lightning sorc with a merc using Infinity which has -55% to enemy lighning resist, enemies will not be subject to the -55% lightning resist from your attacks, only your merc's.
Another example, if you are a posion necro using Grief which has -25% enemy poison resist, the -25% enemy poison resist is applied whenever you have that weapon equipped - you are not required to attack with that weapon.
Example 2.
Slain Monsters Rest In Peace on a weapon will only apply to attacks made with that weapon which strike the killing blow. E.g. if youre a Frenzy Barb using Grief+Lawbringer, the SMRIP mod will only apply if the Lawbringer struck the killing blow. This is as opposed to Nature's Peace or Tyrael's Might, which will apply the SMRIP mod to all attacks made from whoever is attacking with said gear equipped.
