Today I'm stupid

Opening a topic for all the stupid things we occasionally do.

Yesterday managed to do two of them

First tried to make a runeword in a Unique but whatever, cheap runes so more of a giggle
The second one is the really stupid one, running hell LK runs for a White

Monarch for 2 days, and when one drops at the end of a run I just quit the game later on to realize it

Think TWICE when do anything. Act slower

Monarch tonight when i log in (~in about 5 hrs), just dropped another one earlier today. Then maybe you can feel less bad about losing that one! I think we all went though some kind of similar predicament at some point, mine was using

Crystal Sword and getting only 3 slots instead of 4

My biggest derp moment so far has been mixing up Nadir & Stealth bases when I started playing again. >.< Took me about 5 minutes of staring at my armor with

Tir to realize what went wrong.

Felt sooo dumb at the time, but now I'm just glad I learned my lesson on something so minor. I check every time I make anything ever since just to make sure I'm not remembering wrong. xD

Wow, that's would be nice actually but I can't just accept something like that, will get you something in return if you don't mind.

I just remembered a minor oopsie I did yesterday: found a 4os

Cryptic Axe, got super excited and rolled a good Insight only to realize later that my merc doesn't have enough strength to wear it...

today while stocking up on potions in actV getting ready for Ubers, had to drop my CtA

Flail just to make room and reorganise after.
I forgot to pick up my cta after then left the game
Was a nice 4-4-2 CtA worth like 2 Ohms or something, my most valuable item.
sometimes we just have to forget about it and move on haha

"Hmmm, my merc is kinda lame, let's try one of the other types."

seems to happen at least once a season, shouldn't be possible tbh

I played this game for so many years back then, and one of the first thing I did when I came back for D2R, is to (try to) make a Stealth in a magical armor!

Thankfully I haven't done anything too stupid since. Unless you count "Making summon druid as my first ladder character" as stupid hah.
