Description
A run i enjoy doing (with or w/out TZ enabled) is: Eldritch the Rectifier --> Shenk the Overseer --> Dac Farren.
I kid you not, during TZ enabled for Frigid Highlands & Bloody Foothills I received not one, not two, but three separate Sunder Charms in a single run. During TZ, these Sunders Rain from the sky. And I'm aware that I'm not the first to write about this but it's not really aligned with the 'essence' of Diablo2 when these things readily gush out of monsters.

Can be used to make Runewords:

I mean, it's annoying not to have one (and most builds need them), so it's nice that the game drops these essentials regularly
OP
Perhaps a compromise is to make these charms ladder-only. Offline SP these quickly become a nuisance as they are mistaken for a potential Gheed's Fortune upgrade.fraggykrueger wrote: 1 month agoI mean, it's annoying not to have one (and most builds need them), so it's nice that the game drops these essentials regularly![]()
Well, they were ladder-only initially, for one season ( Terror zones were ladder-only altogether for that one season). They became available on non-ladder and offline the following season/patch when they added the latest batch of new rune words like Mosaic. Doubt they'll undo that now.
I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

iirc there was was bug on release so every TZ GC was a sunder, 2 days to patch...
I concur on two sunder GC's in a single run for these areas when TZ'd. I guess, I need more experience to grow to three sunders at that.

It will happen! lol.bigbikefan wrote: 1 month agoI concur on two sunder GC's in a single run for these areas when TZ'd. I guess, I need more experience to grow to three sunders at that.
Just in case anyone doesn't find sunder charms come as easily, I have most available for free (currently out of Crack of the Heavens and Bone Break). Link in my signature.
A really good place to farm sunder charms is TZ Travincal. I generally get an average of about 3 and once got 5 in a single hour. The Key is to be able to clear it in about a minute or less.ghostpos wrote: 1 month agoA run i enjoy doing (with or w/out TZ enabled) is: Eldritch the Rectifier --> Shenk the Overseer --> Dac Farren.

I much prefer to find a magic GC over a unique GC.
I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

Same. Well...I do like the variation in rolls a Gheed's Fortune provide.
I do enjoy a gheeds. Feels like most of my unique gcs are bad sunders. So blue ones, especially from a TZ, are great. Even if they roll bad, at least they are gem re-roll fodder.ghostpos wrote: 1 month agoSame. Well...I do like the variation in rolls a Gheed's Fortune provide.

Even considering that Gheed's Fortune are cool to get, the potential that a blue Grand Charm represents is way more exciting to me.Knappogue wrote: 1 month agoI do enjoy a gheeds.
