Description

Hi

Do crafted item recipes accept unique jewels (Rainbow Facets)?
(I know that they accept rare jewels - I made a crafted gloves today with a rare jewel)

I'm not finding one Rainbow Facet that I dropped recently on any of my mule... I think that I may crafted it by mistake 😓😓😓

I think so.
The jewels in the recipes are not specified to be a certain kind, like magic, rare or unique.

Yes, you can craft with unique jewels.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,
Perfect Gems
, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

Yes, in cubemain.txt you can see that the recipes require a jew (i.e. any jewel). Compare that to other ingredients of, say, a
Safety Body
, which requires a brs,mag,upg (i.e. a magic breastplate or its upgrades - a specific base item) or a
Caster Weapon
, which requires a rod,mag (i.e. a magic rod - an item type).

Yes, and I usually use my crap Rainbow Facets for crafting.. hoping it will result in something extraordinary (maybe a topic of that superstition thread?)

Before making an offer, plase add me on BattleNet

So does this mean that the jewel used in crafting can be any kind of jewel (blue, rare, unique), but does it matter if its from normal or hell difficulty though? I know that for example if crafting amulets, you want to be lvl 90/91 or something or get the amulet from hell terrorized zone so their ilvl is high enough for double skill chance or smth (never had this yet)

Yes, you can use any quality jewel (magic/rare/unique), and its ilvl (where it dropped) does not matter at all. Only the ilvl of the input item (the thing you're crafting; amulet,
Belt
, etc) matters, and your own character level of course, but not the jewel.

From the old
Arreat Summit
website:

It's also worth noting that the ilvl, the quality and the properties of the jewel are completely irrelevant and don't affect the outcome at all.

It doesn't matter if the jewel is magic, rare, or even unique. They all work.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.
