Infernal Torch is a decent low-level option for most Necromancers, although its benefits could probably be overshadowed by a
Wand with relevant staffmods, easily obtained from
Akara. Nevertheless, the potential to complete the Infernal Tools set for an additional +1 to Necromancer Skill Levels could make this desirable in certain low-level use cases.
