Cryptic Axe vs Thresher Pride Base

I want to try out Pride in place of Obedience on my mercenary to buff my damage. I don't want to use

The Reaper's Toll because it will take

Life Tap off the target, even though from what I hear the

Decrepify would probably be a bigger boost in damage than Pride.

I currently possess both 4OS Ethereal

Cryptic Axe and 4OS Ethereal

Thresher. I am unsure which to roll my Pride in. Thoughts?

The main thing that matters is IAS breakpoints, IMO. Faster speed is usually more important than damage.

Or, if you're able to hit the same IAS breakpoint with both, then go for one with higher damage.

Thresher breakpoints are amazing! Since this weapon has no ED the damage is going to be low either way. Maybe give him Delirium since his damage will be low, those procs are still absolutely amazing with

Thresher speeds.

If you’re trying to increase physical damage, have you tried Reapers Toll? It doubles damage vs

Baal with 50% DR for example. Trivializes most champ packs, doing huge damage and slowing, so merc never dies except against possessed champ packs :O

yep, really doesnt matter what weapon u will use because barb will do all the work.
