Cleglaw's Pincers can be very useful due to the crowd control effects. Being the only source of Slows Target% on gloves and one of the few gloves with Knockback, they can be of particular use to characters that use ranged weapons, since the Slow and Knockback will make it harder for the enemy to approach and attack you. They also have a very low level requirement, being usable at level 4 which makes them a decent choice for twinking characters.
They are also of interest to people who engage in BM (bad mannered) PvP, since Slow is a powerful and annoying effect to characters that depend on movement or attack speed. The Knockback is also an annoying effect since it causes characters to enter hit recovery which can interrupt their attacks, casting, or movement.
