I dont understand the hole DClone thing. Why its made so hard for offline players, while online you basically get them for free? Never found an SoJ and i would like to use one too.
Dclone was originally invented as a way to combat the mass flood of duped SoJs on D2:LoD - the Annihilus was basically the endgame reward for getting rid of duped SoJs. Also, it was designed as a community effort, that's why it takes so many to sell and why dclone spawns in all online games (on the same server IP in D2:LoD, on all servers region-wide in D2R).
In D2R, the SoJs for walks have been mostly been sourced via botting (D2R has had a huge botting problem since ladder season 2 at least).
Btw, offline you only need one SoJ. Yes, they're hard to find, but at least you don't have to find 125... Also, back in D2:LoD, you couldn't even do that - annis were impossible to get offline, same with torches.

You can get Anni for free if you are online at the right time. If the spawn occurs at night, or when you're at work, or even online, but just not ready to kill the DC, you're out of luck.
I wish we had more control over spawning our DClones on BN, like in SP.

Thanks for the context. Dont know if i would use my first SOJ for DClone, so i need two. Now it makes more sense to me at least, knowing that the hole thing is more related to the online game in the first place.
But man i ve killed hell Andy a thousand times and dont want to do it on nightmare again.

At least for those who really sacrificed an soj. All others should not get it for free in my opinion.
I will definitely Sacrifice my first SoJ to get an Anni. Not only is Anni better, it also only needs an inventory space instead of a ring slot and it grants extra XP.
Playing HC SSF right now.
Hell completed: Sorc, Druid, Paladin, Ama, Assa, Necro, Barb
Iron Man (Paladin): Nightmare A1

Everyone seems to be taking this thread too seriously. Where are all the stupid questions? For instance , I just encountered Stone Skin skeletal archers and Stone Skin ghosts, and since neither of them have skins, exactly how does that work?
I think that what maybe a serious question for some is a joke for others. And them the OP makes this for those who are a bit embarassed about doing some questions.
As myself, never know if the things i aks about are stupid (noob questions or already ansewred in other posts) or a valid one.
No, there's no way to turn off those effects while keeping the full sets equipped.

so if i buy the steam edition and install will it over ride the bnet version? can you have both steam and bnet on the same machine?
I don't have the Steam version myself, but I've heard multiple people say that they have one copy of the game running via Steam simultaneously as one or more copies of the game running via the Bnet App.
