The Search for Cain

Act 1 Quest • Optional

3 Search Dark Wood for the Tree of Inifuss (through the Underground Passage), find the Cairn Stones in the Stony Field.

Starts with:

Akara

Rewards:

A ring from Akara
Free item identification from Deckard Cain
Cost of buying items in Rogue Encampment reduced by 10%

Description

Travel from the Stony Field through the Underground Passage Level 1 to the Dark Wood.

Find the Tree of Inifuss and click on it to get the Scroll of Inifuss.

Take the Scroll of Inifuss to Akara where she will translate it.

Take the translated Scroll to the Stony Field and click on the five Cairn Stones in the correct sequence.

Go through the red portal that opens up in the middle of the stones to Tristram.

Find Cain in his cage in Tristram and free him by clicking on it.

Return to the Rogue Encampment for your reward.

Lore

Akara informs you that you are facing an evil difficult to comprehend and there is one Horadrim Sage, schooled in the most arcane history and lore who could help you.

He is known as Deckard Cain.

You must travel to Tristram to find him.

To begin your quest the people of the Rogue encampment tell you to find bark from the Tree of Inifuss which holds mystical runes.

Take the bark to Akara.

Once she has translated it she tells that you find the Cairn Stones and touch them in the order written.
