So i got this Rune Staff 1 Energy Shield 1 Shiver Armor 3 Thunder Storm

I Know that Thunder Storm is nothing and ES needs to be 3 but seems a nice item the piont is that has 0 soc should i risk for 5 and CTA or go for 6 and Obsesion the standar or should i just 35k from vendor

I would not make an Obsession even if rolled 6os. Obsession is an on hand runeword which needs good offensive automods to beat Oculus/Hoto + Spirit Monarch. It's no use as offhand buffer.

Yeah, it's not the best. But thunderstorm looks cool, free armor is nice, and lvl 17 ES vs lvl 19 ES does not make a huge difference if you are not aiming for 95% absorb mana only build. Having more life makes you less vulnerable vs. mana burn.
