AFAIK uniques are just too good on higher levels (arach for for and skill, verdungo/CoE for damage reduction, thundergods for 40 stats, etc).
For lvl 30 and below you want 24 fhr and the most valuable ones are crafts (e.g. 10 fcr on caster belts).
The 110 str req could be an issue, since it's less usable as leveling gear.
I usually keep things like that for self use (and end up never using them).
