Add a filter bar in between the threads and new top/mark read that functions like an online shopping filter. I mean I could spend a couple hours just thinking up stuff and talking about it so just off the top brainstorming filters like - views up down / hearts up down / comments up down.

You mean like in the database? Sorting by likes/views/comments is already coded into patch 0.3 but only for the DB area for now.
I mean like in the forum page itself. When you click on the forums, and are looking at the main page.
Like if you were on reddit and you did the drop down for 'hot' 'most recent' 'top comment'. With views, hearts, and comments being the selections for most to least least to most. Maybe throw in a time period like in the last week ect.

I can certainly bring in a basic sorting dropdown for the forums if you'd like in the patch after this upcoming one.
The request of throwing a time period into the equation would however take considerable changes to the phpBB engine which I'm not too keen on doing.

Its just a utility idea, not just because I want it. Throw it on a list to poll later, in like 6 months maybe you can have a poll on your main page with like 6 different features that are minor to include in your next update.
