mikelessar did 1000 runs, and the Key drops were almost spot on in total according to the average drop rate over those 1000 runs. Among those 1000 runs he had a stretch of 86 without a single Key, yet it evened out in the end, almost uncanningly so.

Also, IIRC, The Countess drops no runes at all about 1 in 64 kills, on /players 1. (it's worse on higher player counts)

But seriously though while u get no keys in the meantime, the chances of a Key/s appearing on the next one will increase.
You just need more runs to get the probabilities work more in your favor.
In addition to the earlier comment by a mod, may these Countess stats help u somehow...

Who knows? You might get that triple Key drop I haven't experienced yet. Good luck on farming buddy.
If you're playing online try doing your Key runs in full games for improved drop odds. Baal runs tend to be a good pub game for this because they're easy to find and players stick around long enough to get the run done in time.

Sometimes you're unlucky and have no Key from tens of runs in a row and sometimes you're lucky and get double drops or triple drops. Or you're crazy lucky and get qvadruple drops .
It happened only one time, however.
