Can be used to make Runewords:

I can only add to the discourse that Mary Shelley's Frankenstein was a terrible exercise in graphomania. And Frozenstein could be a great pet, he looks nice and fluffy

Something a Druid could Tame to make Druid suck less?

Will you be announcing what my Blunderbore is weighing in at? He's a bit sensitive on the issue.
If the tournament takes off, we’d probably look at weight divisions. Your Blunderbore would likely be competing with the other.. heavy weights (sorry!) alongside the Thornhulks, storm Lords and overseers…

Now there’s a great idea. Warlocks get to bind demons.. druids should get the skill to tame or charm an animal for use in the same way. That would up the power and playability of the Druid immediately. They would suck no more. Right?

And then Necromancers should have the ability to control the undead.. those monsters classed as undead. That would add to their power too.

Thoughts?

Yeah, that's actually a really cool idea. Add a druid summon skill to tame one animal monster (replace one of the existing summon skills), and a necro summon skill to take control of one undead (replace one of the existing summon skills).

I'm in CET (Central European Time)
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

Right? It’s about time those overlooked classes had a fun / viable / more powerful build. Blizzard - take note!!

Yeah, I think the game would have to start distinguishing between humanoids and actual animals for this to be a thing LOL.

This sounds super fun, I’ll have to get my group to try it. If only they’d give other summoners a runeword like Enigma (maybe for wands) with Death Mark on it so our poor necromancers could Teleport their minions into the designated pit independently… I suppose an Iron Golem could still get in the cage if you dropped the item in the cage to make it, but I still want to see an army of skeletons versus one demon.

I would also like to see my stabby girl steadily dismantle an army of skellies!

You could just Teleport into the cage, leave through the door and lock your minions in. You monster.

Playing HC SSF right now.

Hell completed: Sorc, Druid, Paladin, Ama, Assa, Necro, Barb
Iron Man (Paladin): Nightmare A1

Interesting thing about that actually, we’ve noticed sometimes demons will run ahead and open doors? There’s totally rooms in the Jail and similar that have secret doors that only activate from the outside, so I’d actually look for a map with a room like this to see if it would prevent that from happening. The demons opening doors thing definitely requires more testing on my part to confirm, still not sure what was up with that, but in the two instances it’s happened we don’t know what else it could have been. There was much arguing over who opened the door in the first incident since it resulted in a bit of a messy battle, but the second occurrence had me wondering if it might be the bound demon was actually to blame.

But don’t worry, I promise I can make it worse. I am in fact a monster.

My warlock is still in a toxic situationship with a pit fiend from Act IV Nightmare (my actual goal was to get him a hell witch girlfriend, but I jumped on the opportunity to snag a fancy elite when I saw one and have been surprised at how far he’s made it, just curious now to see where this ship finally sinks) and I’m pretty sure that door-opening incident in the tombs was him trying to kill my warlock, just like my warlock taking him to fight the Dclone repeatedly has been my attempt to murder him… it’s been months. If I was playing on hardcore I would be ecstatic to have lasted this long. I would let them just get a divorce over the harpy thing, but this is far more entertaining. Maybe setting him up to lose in a demon vs demon cage match would be an appropriately climactic way for him to go out? Hmmm… much to think about… maybe THIS is how I finally kill off my husband and marry the Succubus of my dreams…
