I’ve never actually leveled with Enchant (I usually just level as something else and respec at level 75 or so), so I’m not sure how well it’s going to work, but if (A) you get yourself a Raven Claw, (B) make sure to level Warmth before level 18, and (C) shop for a 2os +3 Enchant staff from Drognan in advance (best to do at level 17 or lower because then all Enchant staffs are red on the vendor screen) to make a Leaf to have on swap, it should be fine?
Only problem is that once you get to nightmare you’ll start seeing fire immunes - not a lot but still. There are some Skeleton Magi in Act 2 already that are fire immunes, but you can largely just skip those ( Teleport past them). More importantly, Doom Knights in Act 4 are fire immune on nightmare which will make Chaos Sanctuary a… nightmare (sorry had to
). You’ll need an alternative way of killing them, like a well equipped merc. Act 5 nightmare is mostly fine though - but you’ll have a lot of trouble on Hell without a sunder. You can certainly level up on nightmare TZs until level 75 (enough for a sunder) before you start Hell; assuming you have one ready to use I mean. Make sure it’s a sunder with -res on it, and ideally you’d have a Flickering Flame by then too for some more -res.But as @vued said, it’s probably better to level as something else and respec to Enchant later, unless you’re dead set on leveling with Enchant.
