I guess...your gpu has problem. There is possibility that your driver reinstall can resolve this but...

I guess you already try it because you post rewards. Bring your pc to store and pay small fee to test it. It can be problem but not completely broken.

Some Trade is available for both rotw and LoD, Most rune ,
Perfect Gems
is only in LoD side.

Hey, when did it started happening? Uninstall the drivers (via DDU), prevent microsoft from downloading new drivers. Try degrading your driver until the crashes stop, even try it with a very old driver.

Check this out, it goes over a similar problem encountered by a HP user, in detail:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-No ... -p/9429811

The user had already tried a number of things, which you may want to try anyway, but the tech rep offers some more.

But, in general, process of elimination and the changelog just before this started happening is the best way to solve any technical issues in IT. If you had updated your BIOS one day and didn't fire up the game for a week after that, you might not associate the problem with the BIOS update, but you should try to remember, like retrace your steps.

As it says in the thread, try different configurations. For example, does it happen with the AC on, only on battery or both? Did you update your sound drivers for instance. Did you download Malwarebytes latest version (unlikely that would be the cause but you get the idea of retracing the steps).

Best of luck!

how does my gpu has a problem when on other games triple AAA i get decent 80 fps and 0 crashes for literally 10 hours + would i have issue on al lgames if my gpu was problematic?

Maybe u reward an AI-Model for resolving the issue:

_______________________

The screenshot shows a Windows Event Viewer error:

Source: nvlddmkm
Event ID: 153
Level: Error

nvlddmkm is the NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver. This error usually indicates that the NVIDIA graphics driver crashed, reset, or encountered a communication problem with the GPU.

The message "The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found" is often secondary—the more important issue is that the NVIDIA driver generated the event.

Common Causes
Corrupted NVIDIA driver installation
Unstable GPU overclock (core, Memory, or factory OC)
Faulty or insufficient power delivery
Driver conflict after a Windows update
GPU overheating
Hardware instability (RAM, GPU, PSU)
PCIe communication problems
Step 1: Perform a Clean NVIDIA Driver Reinstall

This fixes a large percentage of nvlddmkm errors.

Download:
Latest NVIDIA driver from NVIDIA's website.
DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller).
Boot into Safe Mode.
Run DDU:
Select GPU → NVIDIA
Choose Clean and Restart
Install the latest NVIDIA driver:
Choose Custom Installation
Check Perform a clean installation

If the problem started after a recent driver update, try an older stable driver instead.

Step 2: Check for Overclocking

If you use:

MSI Afterburner
ASUS GPU Tweak
EVGA Precision
BIOS overclock profiles

Reset:

Core Clock = Default
Memory Clock = Default
Power Limit = Default

Many nvlddmkm crashes are caused by unstable VRAM overclocks.

Step 3: Monitor Temperatures

Use:

MSI Afterburner
HWInfo64
GPU-Z

Check temperatures while gaming or under load:

GPU Core: ideally < 85°C
Hot Spot: ideally < 100°C

If temperatures are excessive:

Clean dust
Improve airflow
Check fan operation
Step 4: Check Windows System Files

Open Command Prompt as Administrator:

sfc /scannow

After it finishes:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Restart afterward.

Step 5: Check Power Supply Stability

Questions:

What GPU do you have?
What PSU (Brand/model/wattage)?

A weak or failing PSU can trigger NVIDIA driver crashes.

Also verify:

PCIe power connectors are fully seated.
No loose cables.
Use separate PCIe cables for high-end GPUs rather than daisy-chaining.
Step 6: Disable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling (Test)

Windows Settings:

Settings → System → Display → Graphics → Default graphics settings

Turn off:

Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling

Reboot and test.

Step 7: Test RAM Stability

Run:

Windows Memory Diagnostic

or preferably:

MemTest86

Bad RAM can cause random nvlddmkm errors even when the GPU is healthy.

Step 8: Look for Related Events

In Event Viewer, around the same timestamp, check for:

Event ID 4101
Event ID 14
Event ID 13
Event ID 0
WHEA-Logger events (17, 18, 19)

These often provide the real cause.

Most Useful Next Step

Could you provide:

Your GPU model (e.g., RTX 3060, RTX 4070, etc.)
Windows version (Windows 10 or 11)
Whether the error happens:
During gaming
At idle
During startup
A screenshot of the Details tab of this Event 153 entry

The Details tab usually contains the actual event data that can pinpoint whether this is a driver issue, power issue, or possible GPU hardware fault.

run above diagnosis . it is just guess, run detail check up if you havent do it.

My guess is based on assumption that you already do most of troubleshooting. That I suspect unlikely remain possibility, hardware.

Let us know who resolve this issue.

Your laptop has Quiet/Balanced/Performance modes - which of these do crashes occur on?

NVIDIA Graphics drivers - which version do you have installed?

Less relevant, but I also have a 2021 Legion 5 and I actually get full shutdown crashes in demanding games.
After five years of use, you actually need to replace the thermal paste and dust your fans :)

i obviously use the perormance , i have latest nvidia driver atm but i tried other older drivers that ppl claimed it sovled the issue for them i also tried studio drivers , still no fix , its not a heating issue my gpu goes to max 84-85c when playing d2r i also have max fans rpm with legion fan control. on other games like d4 i push the machine and gpu temp can go way hugher but still no crashes never. full shutdown sounds rough , have you tried legion fan control? it uses max fan speed , also full perfomance on battery settings can help

On that crash window, click copy in the bottom left corner and paste it here.
It should say something along the lines of:
Reset TDR occurred on GPUID:100
UCodeReset TDR occurred on GPUID:100
Restarting TDR occurred on GPUID:100

My beautiful GPT-5.5 says:
Windows TDR is the mechanism that detects when the GPU stops responding quickly enough, then tries to reset the GPU/driver instead of letting the whole desktop hang. Microsoft documents the default timeout as roughly 2 seconds, and if recovery fails you can get VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE.

AND points out thermal issues as a possible reason for GPU hanging. Legion fan control at max rpm is a red flag, having personally used it when I neglected my laptop maintenance.
Obviously this is not conclusive, but I hope that bringing up Windows TDR as the root cause for Event ID 153 is a clue for further effort. Good luck!

Please play in Balanced and Quiet modes for a while, and report back.
This would definitely rule out thermal (or power delivery) problems as a contributing factor.

Had such Problem, it was operational Memory. After change one of Memory Stick all was ok. Dont ask why, I dont know, aids showed me no Problem with om, but it worked. Mb it helps you too

what is aids , what is om. i mean i run ram diagnostic tool and told me ram was ok , but still yes this oculd be the issue but wouldnt i had simillar crashes on other games aswell if ram was faulty indeed?
7
did you check the link i gave ?

it have a few possible solutions like..

A good first step is to disable Fast Startup in Windows since it can mess with driver initialization

and a few more

Aida- Diagnostik Tool showed me no issues with operating Memory, but I swapped Memory and than Problem was solved. If I have 2 Operating Memory Sticks, try to Play with 1, than with another. Mb it hepls u too.

Sry, I have German typing help, so it changes words sometimes
