When I receive a DM from a member, I should be able to "reply" but I think because my account is relatively new, I'm not able to "reply" which is a little bit of a bummer. I was trying to find a contact button for Admin but that too was a little tricky.

That is true, used to be like that but we had a severe bot spamming attack a few months ago, we had to put some barriers.

You should be able to reply/message people now, because this topic was approved. Newly registered users are initially placed in a user group with limited access (such as not being able to send private messages, and needing approvals for threads/posts on the regular forum). As soon as you’ve had a post approved on the regular forum, you are moved to the normal user groups which unlocks all features. Like Necrarch says, this was a security measure that was implemented a couple of months ago to combat a massive wave of spam bots.
