Is paladin smiter still the recommended build for soloing the uber ancients like with the regular ubers, or are there better options out there?

Mosaic Sin is the easiest as far as I know on Non ladder. Another thing is if you are not looking for fire or poison jew, then kill

Talic first, make the fight somewhat easier too.

I've used mosiac sin to farm

Chaos Sanctuary a ton. Super high DPS but my only concern is she's quite squishy. My experience was that if I couldn't kill the enemies before they could react, it would be over

No way, you have

Weapon Block,

Fade and tons of replenish with

Cobra Strike charges.

Summom the portal next to the town's entrance, this way you can prepare charges and rush to the portal to start the fight full of charges.

There is kinda a risk if the sin gets hit to be in hit recovery mode, it's like a racing who beats who first. Normally sin wins.

Are you saying you can cheat code what jewel will drop based on who is killed last?

Doesnt matter which of the other 2 you kill first. As long as

Madawc is last to die

Not "cheat code" but very much intended.

There are 6 jewels.
You can only ever get 1 out of 2 of them per ancients run.
Out of which 2 that selection is depends entirely on which ancient you kill last.

Madawc last =

Korlic last =

Talic last =

Defender's Bile

That's why the jewels are named the way they are. Their name is a direct reference to the name + title of the ancient you killed last to get them:
Talic the Defender, Madawc the Guardian and Korlic the Protector.

Which of the other 2 you kill first or second doesn't matter. You can do those in any order. The only thing that matters is which one you leave up for last.
