Description

We installed it on the multiple disc -while flipping thru the crisp game manual- on a CD-ROM Drive.

I can't remember exact specs, maybe a 20X drive. It was whir-whir-whirling when R/W :D

I think mine was a 15" CRT monitor, Pentium 2 300 MMX with a godly 32/64MB of ram and 4 GB HDD.

and the gfx was voodoo 2 or 3 i can't recall. The vid test went straight to 3dfx Glide.

The gfx was AWESOME and really was state of the art (for a student lmao..) in glorious 30fps

Can be used to make Runewords:

if it's one thing on the topic of cinematics...

Blizzard have always been consistent on regardless of the dev team of the day is their cinematics department.

They REALLY should release an online "tv-series" similar to what WH40K did with theirs.

I'm sure people would pay a sub they ALREADY have a platform with Battle.net

Not only does it advances the Lore / Story but also gives the artists and modelers a real platform to showcase their capabilities even more.

Yeah, omg i remember the PC of my friend was so weak that he couldnt fight lightning enchanted bosses, because it caused the game to play in 1-2 fps which means he always couldnt react anymore and died with his character. My father had a good PC (remember the aweful sound of the internet modem bibopeeeeep) but everytime my sister wanted to use the telephone i couldnt play anymore.

Btw i love this wh40k video from secret level and i am kinda frustrated gw still isnt able to make a glorius series or movie like this. No need for real actors, really. The cinematic from secret level is top notch and catches 100% grim dark vibes. Gotta say the closest game to perfection for wh40k for me at the moment is the hack and slay Warhammer 40.000: Inquisitor - Martyr . Feels so much diablo 2 mechanically with the immersion and Lore/gore of wh40k (so many factions!), i love it (of course Dawn of War I / II will always have a special place in my heart and darktide is nice too, but diablo 2 mechanics on a grim dark game is unbeaten for me)!

Hahahaha, indeed, dang, the Srkillex song everytime, it was impossible to connect without everyone on the house notice it, what a time to be alive.

I played Diablo 1 on PSX, and I remember to Smoke 1 cig at least on the wait for loading, so even on those Pentium 233 and 34 mb of Ram computers D2 was kinda "fast", even tho, a lot of times the loading crashed before the fire on the door appers lol

Battlenet was only while on cyber-coffe because I didnt had internet on home to play, but we played a lot on lan partys on TC/IP tho.

It is amazing how I spend at least another 300 hours in 2 months again onto this, old but
Gold
.

Thanks for the longing nostalgia, and for remember me Im already from the jurasic times of gaming :P

yea..dial-up on a US Robotics 56K. rofl. And praying nobody calls in else the internet gets zapped.

So it's all on late nights because the frequency of calls is minimal.

Love darktide. Have you tried Rogue Trader ? It's BG1/BG2 on 40K.
