charsi imbue question

thanks.. if ethereal is unchanged, why do some assa guys look for ethereal suwayyahs? because they only kick/use traps?

Diadem, what would you spend the three lottery tickets on (lvl 97 sorc)?

But don't see much reason to spend much time choosing/seeking an specific item for imbue, it is just a 1 shot in a totally random rare, the odds of getting something good with just a few tries (3 per character) is almost zero (think in how much items you gamble or crafted until you get a good one...)

Diadems you can make with lvl8+ character. Make a Palladin, give him highly poisonous gear=>run to kill Smith leveling on the way =>delete character.

If you only need

Diadem for cold Sorc don't do it. There are chances to get + skill. Chances that other stats will be useful. Chance that all will be in favour of particular class iare too low / you have too high expectation. Gambling coronets will net you more chances IMO.

If you are about to delete some character and quest is not completed yet, go imbue

Diadem. Why not?

1 - level requeriment is based on the affixes rolled not the ilvl/alvl (item level / affix level)
(An item with a high alvl and an item of the same type with low alvl will have the same level requeriments if they have the same affixes)

2 - yes (that was new to me...)

3 no. Only clvl (character level) that will be the ilvl (item level) of the generated item and the item natural mlvl (magic level) and qlvl (quality level)

4 - do you mean Orbs right (wands are for necromancers)? I don't thing its a good ideia .. the chances of get one that will be better than a unique orb or Heart of the Oak are almost none ... At least way lower than get a

Diadem that you could eventually sell...
Rule of thumb, use for

Diadem or an ethereal item that would be usefull for some buld

(I thought that just the Ancients quest had a level requeriment - and I don't remember if the level requirement is just for you to get the XP bonus or if it is to complete the quest itself )

Boots (and gloves) can be easily gambled. I would save the imbues for later. Or try to sell them (someone said in other thread that there are people that buy imbue quests ....)


About what item to use... You have to take in account cllv, qlvl and mlvl to see if the item can roll the affixes you want (depending on the clvl you may want an elite item - higher qlvl - or a normal one - low qlvl)
And rememebr that you can use the cube to upgrade to Exceptional and Elite (so you can imbue a normal item and then upgrade if you need an eexceptional or elite)

Lvl req. for ancients is 20/40/60 and you just don't get the quest. You can do it later.

I think the imbue quest req is lvl 8 for all difficulty levels.

Baal quest if another player in your party does the

Baal quest "properly" (i.e. after ancients). This way, you can proceed to NM/Hell without doing the Ancients' quest.

This is used for mules and for LLD characters that want 30 all res from

Anya quests.

Baal quest "properly" (i.e. after ancients). This way, you can proceed to NM/Hell without doing the Ancients' quest.

This is used for mules and for LLD characters that want 30 all res from

Oh. How do you avoid getting the quest failed because you are not in the portal, or leveling up if you are in the boss room?
