Demon fails

Anyone have a good story about failing to bind a good demon or losing the one you had?

I just jumped into a Worldstone

Terror zone and had a great fail. I already had a cursed normal Lister with

Conviction aura, which was great. Thought I would try for a T94 cursed Lister. So I ran several

Baal runs and came across a cursed Lister (woohoo!). Killed off my Lister and sent single goats after the pack to keep them busy until I could damage and target Lister. Got him!! And then I forgot I reassigned

Engorge to

Bind Demon and tried to

Engorge, which made me lose my Lister and get one of the pack. And that guy was not very good So now back to searching for another cursed Lister...

I've consumed plenty of meta demons by being careless playing on controller (I play co-op on steam deck fairly often), so eventually I just thought sod it, forget rerolling Lister and Hephasto, I just go to Trav and nab Ismail, he's always cursed which was the most important thing for damage.

Conviction before new patch, there is small chance it will preserve aura after it.

Be sure to get it .

Okay, it is up to rotw player...

Why is

Conviction preferred over Might or

Fanaticism? Is that for group play or assuming the warlock uses fire skills?

that is just example, you can pick any that might no longer exist in next version.

Yes, for both cases. It's a free Infinity and the merc can equip something else, like Insight for the Insight Cure

Prayer combo.
I am glad they are going to remove this op nonsense.
